Explore the process of filmmaking, including hand-on experience with iMovie. Students will gain an understanding of script development, camera operation, basic lighting, sound recording, editing, and music composition. This class is team taught by the production crew of the documentary, “Warren MacKenzie: A Potter’s Hands,” giving students access to a wealth of knowledge and experience.
 
The crew includes: Director Mark Lambert, Anoka-Ramsey Community College art faculty member; Editor Towle Neu, local film festival judge who has edited, written, and produced independent film for 10 years; David Schnack, Director of Photography, who lent his gifted eye to Robert Altman’s “A Prairie Home Companion;” Composer Craig Woodward, Ph.D. from Rutgers University – his works have been performed at such venues as Carnegie Hall; Sound Mixer/Recordist Matt Quast, who has worked with pop stars and presidents.
