Diane Wilson (Dakota) is a prose writer who has published a memoir, Spirit Car: Journey to a Dakota Past and a nonfiction book, Beloved Child: A Dakota Way of Life. Her work has been awarded the 2012 Barbara Sudler Award from History Colorado, a 2006 Minnesota Book Award, and the 2012 One Minneapolis One Read program. Wilson is a Bush Foundation Fellow and Executive Director for Dream of Wild Health, a non-profit farm serving the Twin Cities Native community.
