Susan Frame, an American Sumi-e master, has been playing with ink for many years, specializing in contemporary and experimental techniques of painting and calligraphy. Her teachers include world renowned artists from the US, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and China. Susan has received many awards for her work, which is included in museum, corporate, and private collections. She exhibits nationally and internationally including New York, Paris, Japan, China, and Korea; teaches workshops in locations from Alaska to Guatemala; and writes books about sumi-e.
