Casey Sheppard, originally from Nebraska, has lived in several places, including Brooklyn, Miami, Los Angeles, and Jamaica. She is a self-taught, award-winning metalsmith/jeweler whose work is raw, organic and primitive. She has exhibited nationally and internationally and her work has been featured in American Craft magazine, Art Jewelry magazine, Crafthaus, and more. “Case of the Nomads” is a community-connecting project where Casey travels across the United States living in a converted van. She lectures professionally at conferences, schools, and clubs.
