Laurie Toth received a BA in painting from Minneapolis College of Art and Design where she studied under Birney Quick and attended the Grand Marais Art Colony where she fell in love with landscape painting. Laurie’s primary medium is soft pastel and she makes her own sticks to augment the sets purchased. Laurie lives in Minneapolis and has 30 years of teaching experience at many of the local art centers. Laurie is currently illustrating a series of fictional historical short stories.
