Linda Gammell’s photographs have been exhibited and collected nationally. She is the recipient of many fellowships and grants, including the Bush Artist Fellowship, McKnight Fellowship, and the Minnesota State Arts Board. Her art projects explore concepts of place, including the prairies of the Great Plains and the forests and water of Lake Superior. She has taught photography at various institutions, including Minneapolis College of Art and Design, Colorado College, St. Olaf College, Hamline University and the College of Visual Arts.
