Joyce Yamamoto is a mixed media/painting/collage/monoprint/clay/photography artist who works with the Northeast Entrepreneur Fund as a consultant and trainer for its C.RE.A.T.E./Community Resources for Artists-to-Entrepreneurs program. She believes that artists who serve as resource people to others are community builders in the broadest sense. The transformation process where paper + paint become a painting, words + paper fragments become collage, paper + ink + pressure become a print, clay + high heat becomes pottery, and artists + information become entrepreneurial is what fuels her creativity.
