Carolyn Halliday uses the vocabulary and techniques of textiles to sculpt forms and 2-D art that reference body and/or nature. She has exhibited locally and nationally for 15 years. Her work has been published in, Knitting Art: 150 Innovative Works from 18 Contemporary Artists; Surface Design Journal; Interweave Knits; and Jaquard, an Italian journal. She is the Lead Mentor for the Textile Center Mentor/Protégé Program, and a Mentor in the WARM (Women’s Art Resources of MN) Mentor/Protégé Program.
