Kathleen Sheridan is a self-taught origamist. She began folding in the fourth grade and is now a regular at national conventions and has origami friends across the globe. She runs a local group of folders, gives origami demonstrations, and teaches summer camp origami classes for children. When asked why origami is such a passion, Kathleen says that after all these years of folding, it is still amazing to her that something so beautiful can come from a piece of paper.
