Karen Searle creates sculptures in fiber and mixed media and exhibits in the U.S. and abroad. She has taught and lectured internationally, curated exhibitions, and judged international textile design competitions. She has taught at St. Catherine’s University, Canberra School of Art, and at various textile art conferences. She mentors emerging artists through the Mentor/Protégée program of Women’s Art Resources of Minnesota (WARM). She is the author of “Knitting Art” (Voyaguer Press 2008).
