Two great shows not to be missed featuring Sandi Pillsbury Gredzens.

“Witnessing Nature: Three Personal Journeys”
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
At the Johnson Heritage Post Gallery on September 14-October 7 with an Opening Reception on Friday, September 21 from 5 to 7 p.m. It features the pastel paintings of Rosemary Hultman, the oil and alkyd paintings of Sandi Pillsbury Gredzens and the ceramic sculpture and functional pieces of Rose Kadera Vastila. The three women first proposed this exhibit to the JHP in December of 2009! All three women have studied with Grand Marais Art Colony instructor, Hazel Belvo. Sandi also serves as Chair of the Grand Marais Art Colony Board. Gallery hours are: Wednesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The gallery is closed Mondays and Tuesdays.

“Lake Superior 20/20 Studio Art Tour” – See 20 artists in a 20 mile loop!

Hop in your car and enjoy the beauty of fall on Lake Superior’s North Shore and visit artists’ studios! The artists will be present and have their studios opened to the public from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday: September 28, 29 and 30 and again on October 5, 6 and 7. The location of this 20-mile loop is just a short distance outside of Duluth. Watch for signs along Highway 61 Expressway between Duluth and Two Harbors OR you may contact one of the artists for a PDF of the map!
