"Shore" performance comes to Grand Marais Arts Festival

News-06/04/2013-03:34 PM

Award-winning Minneapolis-based choreographer Emily Johnson brings her performance company Catalyst to Grand Marais for free outdoor performances at the Grand Marais Arts Festival on July 13 & 14  2013.  The GMAF performances will be preview excerpts of SHORE, a new site-specific dance + music + storytelling event that will take place in Harbor Park at 2pm each day. SHORE traces the blurry edges between water and land, performer and audience, art and community, the pedestrian and the sublime.  With local participants from the Grand Marais community joining in the performances.
