FUN-damentals of Clay: Wheel Throwing & Hand-Building
Mon-Fri, July 28-August 1, 2014; 5 days; 9am-4pm
Location: Clay Studio
Students will learn beginning to advanced wheel-throwing and hand-building techniques. Using stoneware clay, students will work with glazes and slips, and explore techniques including mishima, sgraffito, texture, dry brush, and resist decorative methods. Tonya will also include technical demonstrations on clay construction and clay stamp making, as well as introductory information on kiln loading and firing processes.
