Fast, Loose & Fun Acrylic Painting
July 16 - 17, 2016; 2 days; 9 am - 4 pm
Location: Founders Hall
Using a variety of acrylic paints learn to apply bold, big, loose brushstrokes using lots of paint. Students will create small paintings filled with color and packed with emotion by focusing on capturing larger shapes instead of details. Bonnie will facilitate warm-up drawing exercises and teach students to work quickly with as few brush strokes as possible and how to swiftly apply paint with a palette knife. Students will experiment with mixing paint with gels and molding pastes to create thick, textural paintings filled with energy.
This class will be cancelled on Monday, July 11, 2016
if minimum student enrollment has not been met. Please register before this date.
