Wildlife in the Landscape: Moose Study
August 23 - 24, 2014; 2 days; 9am - 4pm
Location: Founders Hall
Students will learn various aspects of painting wildlife into an outdoor landscape. Taking the moose as a case study, emphasis will be placed on anatomy, coloration, and how to merge wildlife and landscape into one coherent piece. Students will begin with a value study and then create a full-color painting. Instruction will include fundamental techniques of oil painting but students may use either oil or acrylic mediums.
This class will be cancelled on Monday, August 18, 2014,
if minimum student enrollment has not been met. Please register before this date.
