Aged to Perfection: Elders & Art-Making
August 28 - 29, 2014; 2 half days; 9 am - noon
Location: Founders Hall
Research proves the older one gets the more creative one becomes. People in their 80s and 90s are discovering new gifts such as painting, woodcarving, and writing poetry. Using watercolor as our medium, we will explore the creative process while experiencing the act of creating as life-giving and rejuvenating. Students will draw upon a lifetime of rich experiences to create three paintings.
This class will be cancelled on Monday, August 25, 2014
, if minimum student enrollment has not been met. Please register before this date.
