August 8 - 9, 2015; 2 days; 9am - 4pm
Location: Eco-Friendly Print Studio
Encaustic Collagraph is a printmaking technique where the printing plate is made by painting beeswax medium (also known as encaustic medium) onto an acrylic panel. The waxed-based plate is then inked and printed onto paper. The encaustic collagraph process is very immediate and produces wonderful tonal details. Multi-plate prints will be covered in Jeff’s instruction. All printing is done using water-based inks making the total process non-toxic.
This class will be cancelled on Monday, August 3, 2015,
if minimum student enrollment has not been met. Please register before this date.
