Remnants: Making Jewelry from Paper, Wood & Metal

Can you believe it’s possible to create beautiful jewelry from your remnants of watercolor paper, beads, collage bits, wood, and metal findings? Jeanne will demonstrate the basics of making a pendant using a variety of remnants along with a copper or base metal wire. Making their own pendants, students will look at composition, and learn techniques such as layering, securing, wiring, and finishing. The principles demonstrated in this class can also be applied to earrings, necklaces, or brooches.
A variety of supplies will be available for purchase.
Materials fee will vary and be paid directly to the instructor.
