Intermediate Relief Printing
September 27-29, 2014; 3 days; 9am - 4pm
Location: Eco-Friendly Print Studio
Explore different relief print processes and materials, including single wood block prints, multi-block color prints, pressure prints, and printing with wood and metal type. The theme for our imagery will be “Looking Around,” using the many elements of the North Shore landscape such as trees and water for inspiration. Students will have hands-on experience exploring the many capabilities of the Vandercook proofing press. Together, the class will produce a simply bound chapbook collection of prints.
