January 27 - March 2, 2016 (except Feb 10); 5 Wednesdays; 6:30pm - 9:00pm
Location: Founders Hall
Life drawing is for artists what jogging is for athletes – essential practice. It trains eye and hand to render a likeness to human form. Artists can choose to draw in a highly detailed representational manner, or to create loose and expressive sketches. As models work through a variety of postures, artists have the opportunity to study muscle detail, facial expressions, and overall form in a way that is not possible with a two-dimensional image. The first part is suited to quick gesture drawings and the second is focused on longer, extended poses. This session is open to artists of all media and skill level. Artists younger than 18 must be accompanied by or have the permission of a parent or guardian. No instruction included. NO SESSION ON February 10.
Pre-Register for Entire Series: $50
Individual Session Drop-in Rate: $12
This class will be cancelled at NOON on Tuesday, January 26, 2016
, if minimum enrollment has not been met. Please register before this date.
