Quiting Bee/Artist Salon
Saturday, March 28, 2015; 1pm - 4pm
Location: Founders Hall
Turn discarded art pieces into new creations! We know you have art scraps hanging around, stuffed into a shoe box, a folder, or on the counter of your studio. Bring them in and work with Mary to create a collaged quilt block using a variety of design elements and stitching. The idea for this project is modeled after traditional quilting bees in which women brought fabric scraps and assembled them into quilts. For ages 12 to adult.
This class is part of the Art Colony's 2015 Artist-in-Residence.
