Cut Paper Art - Full Session
February 18 - 19, 2017, 2 day; 9am - 4pm
Andrea will provide an overview of the historical and contemporary examples of papercutting, and students will discover how the technique can be used in a variety of interesting and new ways. Students will learn basic cutting techniques and methods to create cut paper art with scissors and craft knives. These techniques will then be applied to a variety of student-designed projects. Andrea will bring templates that students can use or they can create their own design. No prior drawing experience is required.
