Public Lecture | Traveling Texts: What bookbindings tell us about early-printed books
Friday, June 3, 2016; 7pm
Location: Founders Hall
Join us for an illustrated talk of Scott’s research into bookbindings on incunables (printed books from the 15th century), in American collections. Scott will talk about his working census and its resulting database, and will show photos of decorated bindings and other details of books from what was a fascinating period of book history and western culture.
This event is free; pre-registration is requested.
