Mentorship in Photography
July 24 - 26, 2017; 3 days; 9am - 4pm
Location: Eco-Friendly Print Studio
Experienced photographers will find time to explore their personal artistic vision and gives their artistic ideas greater definition through one-to-one mentorship. Linda will guide artists through the process of honing thematic ideas through discussions and experimental exercises, including writing and employing a sketchbook to record creative reflections. This experience will help students to heighten connections with the natural world and the landscape, using the boreal forests and Lake Superior as artistic inspiration. Prerequisite: Full knowledge of camera and any digital media; this is not a technically-oriented course.
