Coptic binding was developed during the second and third centuries in Egypt and is an essential and versatile part of a binder’s repertoire. Students will make a version with wood covers using the curved needle technique and will be able to take the needle home with them for further practice.
This class is held in partnership with the Minnesota Center for Book Arts
and is funded by a Minnesota State Arts Board grant.
