Needle Felted Wool Landscapes
February 17 - 18, 2017; 2 days; 9am - 4pm
Location: Founders Hall
Explore the medium of needle felting, learn about different types of wool and techniques, and create a landscape piece based on your own photographic inspirations. Students will develop a hands-on understanding of materials and techniques, and receive an introduction to color theory and fundamentals of composition. By working closely together on step-by-step and independent compositions each participant will gain the creative and technical insight and confidence to pursue their own ideas in needle felted wool.
