Community Conversations are a way for our local arts community and Art Colony members to connect and dialogue about various aspects of the arts in a guided discussion format. Please join us for this free opportunity to invest in our local arts community.

Join us for a conversation with Carrie McHugh, Director of the Cook County Historical Museum, as she shares a bit of local art history. The museum has a glass negative collection of photographs created in the early 1900s by Maude Small Toftey, a local teacher. Carrie will share some of the images, talk about their story, and open discussion about their artistic value.
