Exploring a Theme: Creating a Series
July 28 - 30, 2017; 3 days; 9am - 4pm (at Betsy Bowen Studios)
Holly Newton Swift
Linda and Holly will guide students in finding a personal visual response to the natural elements. By focusing on a theme and developing a series of three to five works, artists will experience how expression thrives with focus and working within defined parameters. The process will include creative exercises, personal writing, observation in the natural world, and experimentation with photography, mixed media, and drawing. Open to artists working in a variety of media.
Consider taking this class in conjunction with Linda Gammell's, Mentorship in Photography (see mentorship class HERE
for specific prerequisites).
This class will be cancelled July 21, 2017
, if minimum enrollment is not met. Please register before this date.
