Paint outside in beautiful locations around Grand Marais with a focus on pastels. The basics of outdoor painting will be discussed throughout the week, as well as topics including choosing your own subject, design and composition considerations, the importance of accurate drawing, painting fundamentals and more as we work together. Instructor demonstrations, personal assistance at your easel and group critiques will give us a chance to learn as we explore plein air (outdoor) painting in a fun and supportive environment.
