COVID GUIDELINES

The Art Colony is operating under a COVID-19 Preparedness Plan as long as is recommended by the Minnesota State Department of Health and CDC. Registered students have checked our Terms and Conditions, agreeing to our safety guidelines.

Admission Policy

The Art Colony welcomes all students regardless of age, race, gender, religion, nationality, ethnicity, sexual orientation or disability. Adult classes are open to students ages 16 and older, unless otherwise noted. Contact the Art Colony if special circumstances apply. We ask that students note the skill levels outlined for each individual class and honor any prerequisites.

Scholarships

The Art Colony is dedicated to making its learning opportunities accessible to all students regardless of financial need. Specific scholarships are funded by designated gifts from Art Colony members and supporters and include youth need and non-need based scholarships, and adult need-based scholarships. Cancellation Policy

If you are a returning students, please note that our cancellation policy has been updated as of December 2021.

Adult Classes

Upon registration there is a 25% non-refundable deposit applied. Students who cancel 45 days or more in advance of the class start date will receive a full refund minus the non-refundable deposit. No refunds are given within 45 calendar days of the class start date.

Youth Classes

Students who cancel more than 14 days in advance of the class start date will receive a full refund. No refunds are given within 14 days of the class start date.

Entry Points

Pets

Because many students are animal lovers, we do at times get requests to bring pets into the studio spaces. Note that our policy is that ONLY certified service animals are allowed in the studio.
