« All Events

Bring your art making outdoors using cyanotypes and various drawing exercises. Cyanotype printing is a non-toxic sun printing process that uses natural objects, coated paper, light and water to create blue and white toned prints. You will learn a variety of techniques to use both inside the studio and outdoors, and additionally, fine tune your own outdoor art kit. This class will primarily be held outside near Lake Superior, weather permitting. Students should plan for 6 – 8  hours outside over the course of 2 days. Students will make a series of prints with found objects, hand-drawn film transparencies and nature rubbings.
