David Hahn Art Days

David Hahn was a beloved community-member, artist who passed away in 2022. He attended Washington University School of Fine Arts and the University of Minnesota. David was Art Director for Miller Publishing. After retiring to Hovland, David focused on watercolor and enjoyed teaching youth classes at the Art Colony as well as working within the public school, creating portrait cards for the Viking athletic teams. His generous memorial gifts support the funding for this event. We will be offering Paint-a-bowl for Empty Bowls, explore a fun printmaking activity in our new print shop, and experience the magic of Suminagashi. All classes will be offered as drop-in events from 10-2pm, Kids under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult.
