The drive to adorn is innate in our species, marking culture and defining value since the beginning of history. Contemporary jewelry, although it spans an unfathomable variety, participates in our modern day society, reflecting and emphasizing values as a civilization. Anna will discuss these ideas and how we as artists, jewelers, and makers engage through what we create. She will also share about her work and process, as well as talk about professional practice.
This event is free and open to all. Goodwill donations are welcome.
