Photographing Superiors Frozen Landscape

The majority of Craig’s subject matter has been Lake Superior and winter is his absolute favorite time to photograph the big lake. Students will use the best times of day, including early morning and mid-evening, as well as some nighttime hours, to make the most of the week. On-site outings include Artists’ Point, Cascade State Park, and other locations between Grand Marais and the Canadian border. While Craig will offer technical help, the emphasis of the workshop will be on making images in the winter environment. The middle of each day will be spent editing and critiquing work from the previous evening and morning.
