Jeff Hirst has an MFA in painting and printmaking from Louisiana State University and a BFA from the University of Minnesota. He has been teaching encaustic and printmaking classes since 1989 and has taught throughout North America and Ireland. His work is represented by Addington Gallery in Chicago and Brandt-Roberts Gallery in Columbus, Ohio. HirJeff’s work is in many private and public collections and he has been awarded grants from the Minnesota State Arts Board, the DECAS grant in Chicago, and a fellowship at Ballinglen Arts Foundation. Jeff is also an R & F Handmade Paint Core Instructor and he works and lives in Chicago.
