Sarah Nelson is an artist and illustrator based in Los Angeles, California. Her drawings are love letters to the natural world and its intricate beauty. Through the use of digital or permanent and often unforgiving mediums, Sarah illustrates her own learning as well as research from scientific and academic partners. Her work has been exhibited around the country and in 2022, she embarked on a three-week artist residency exploring and working in the Arctic Circle on a barquentine vessel sailing along the 80th parallel.
