Many Art Colony instructors are college professors and have artistic credentials that include: top grants and fellowships from places like MSAB, Bush Foundation, and Jerome Foundation; awards such as Lifetime Achievements, Minnesota Book Awards, and Master Status in acclaimed societies like Plein Air Painters of America and Watercolor USA; exhibitions in prestigious venues such as MIA, Walker, Smithsonian, and globally; and are highlighted in national publications ranging from Architect magazine, American Craft Council Magazine, International Artist magazine, and Metalsmith magazine.
