Adam Swanson

Adam Swanson’s work addresses the future, fragility of the human presence, perseverance of nature, and underlying threads of danger woven through societies. He paints largely from photographs and videos he has taken and uses the texture and interplay between colors to create music for visual sense. After years of travel and a few stints in Antarctica, Adam returned to Minnesota to work more seriously on developing his artistic voice in 2009. He currently lives in the woods and paints full-time.
