Dana De Ano is a Chicago-based visual artist who works predominately through drawing on paper in a manner she refers to as two and a half dimensional. Her work varies greatly in materials and incorporates both traditional and non-traditional drawing materials. Dana earned an MFA in Painting and Drawing from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and has been the recipient of a number of scholarships and fellowships, most recently at Ragdale in Lake Forest, IL. Dana’s work was shown at the Packer Schopf Gallery in Chicago for years, as well as through the Drawing Center’s Viewing Program in New York City and she is now self-represented. Her work is included in numerous private collections.
