Hazel Belvo is an artist, master teacher, and mentor. She has exhibited nationally and internationally for 50 years and her work is in many public collections including the Minneapolis Institute of Art, the Bezalel Museum, the Dewitt Wallace Collection, and General Mills. Hazel was a Radcliffe Institute Scholar and a Women’s Art Resources of Minnesota (WARM) gallery member. She is a Professor Emeritus of the Minneapolis College of Art and Design where she taught for 34 years. She has taught at the Art Colony for 32 years and her name was added to the Founders Hall plaque in appreciation of her long-time commitment.
