Kari Halker-Saathoff is a multidisciplinary artist and has been an art educator for the past 25 years in St. Michael-Albertville, Minnesota. Her teaching role requires her to be well-versed in all core artistic media, allowing her to combine her skills in drawing with ceramics and sculpture. She has an artistic interest in reinterpreting stories to give new meaning to the past. Kari received a 2019 Minnesota State Fair Artistry Award for Sculpture, and has shown her work around the nation, including in a 2018 solo exhibition at Canton Museum of Art, Ohio.
