Lisa Buck is a potter and educator from the St. Croix River Valley of Minnesota. She uses a combination of wheel-thrown, hand-built or carved techniques to produce her pieces out of red earthenware clay. Her pots characteristically express generous forms, with soft feet and handles that are fired in an electric kiln. Her work has been exhibited in galleries nationwide and can be found in numerous books and publications. Lisa has been the recipient of the Jerome Foundation Project Grant for Emerging Artists and has been greatly influenced by the years she lived and taught in Morocco.
