Mary Casanova’s wealth of 38 titles range from picture books to “cross-over” historical fiction for young adults and adults. Much of her work stems from her love of the Minnesota Northwoods, (Frozen, Ice-Out, Wolf Shadows) while other books have grown out of her research abroad (The Klipfish Code set in Norway, WWII; Curse of a Winter Moon set in France). As one of ten children in a bustling camp-like atmosphere, she claims, writing became her voice.
