Monica Ihrke received her BFA in printmaking from the University of California-Santa Cruz. She uses relief-printed linoleum to depict beloved and vulnerable natural and industrial spaces and develops strong lines and builds depth through the use of colors and textures by layering multiple runs of ink in her prints. Monica’s work has been exhibited at The Grand in New Ulm, Minnesota, Zeitgeist in Duluth, Minnesota, Feick Art Center in Poultney, Vermont, and No. 27 Gallery in Rochester, New Hampshire, among others.
